タムリエルの伝承にて貴重なアーティファクトとされ、TES3:Morrowindで登場した剣「Ice Blade of the Monarch」と、剣にまつわるクエストを追加します。

またクエストの過程において、「Krahvalok(Ice-Guardian)」という名のスタルリム製の短剣と強力な黒檀製の杖「Apotheosis」を手に入れることができます

クエストは亡霊の海の難破船ピルグリム・トレンチ号のそばにあるキャンプを訪れることによって始まり、そこから何度もの強敵との闘い、地図を使った探索を果たさなければなりません
